Amanda’s films have been showcased at prestigious festivals such as Melbourne International Film Festival, Flickerfest and St Kilda Film Festival, and have reached global audiences on Sky Television (UK), RAI TV (Italy), NHK (Japan) and Virgin Airlines. Amanda began her career making documentaries for the BBC, then later transitioned into freelance work on feature films, television series and commercials - before discovering her passion for improv comedy. Amanda’s talent has been recognized by the Australian Director's Guild, winning the Metroscreen Fellowship, and her feature script Baby Boomers was a finalist at the Page Awards, placing in the top 10 comedy screenplays selected from over 6,000 international entries. Amanda has shadowed two acclaimed directors on set: Oscar-nominated Bruce Beresford (Ladies in Black, Sony Pictures) and Erin White (Paper Dolls, Paramount TV).
